Learn to Code & Code to Learn Contest

The Learn to Code & Code to Learn Contest is organised by CEELT, Faculty of Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Stage 1: Learn to Code Programme
Objectives: Students learn coding and design interactive language learning games for Primary 1 students
Participants:30 students of Primary 4 and 5 in each Core School and 40 students from other QTN participating schools
Date: In Term 2 (January –March 2016)
Time: 2 hours X 3 sessions (A total of six hours)
Venue: Computer Room of the school and M1, Ho Tin Building, CUHK

The language games submitted for the Contest will be assessed according to the following criteria:
a. Artwork design (15%)
b. Engagement (20%)
c. Creativity in learning English (30%)
d. Programme performance (20%)
e. Coding technique (15%)
