Project Scope

Drama module (2016/17)

  • Four Core Schools will be recruited in the 2016/17 implementation year to try out and develop the dramamodule of the resource package. Intensive training and support on the teaching strategies as well as the adaptation of the resource package will be provided by the CUHK QTN project team through professional development workshops, lesson observations, co-planning meetings, and experience sharing.  

 

E-Learning module (2015/16)

  • Four Core Schools will be recruited in the 2015/16 implementation year to try out and develop the e-Learning module of the resource package. Intensive training and support on the teaching strategies as well as the adaptation of the resource package will be provided by the CUHK QTN project team through professional development workshops, lesson observations, co-planning meetings, and experience sharing.  

Phonics module (2014/15; 2015/16)

  • Four Core Schools were recruited in the 2014/15implementation year to try out and develop the Phonics module of the resource package. Intensive training and support on the teaching strategies as well as the adaptationwas provided by the CUHK QTN project team through professional development workshops, lesson observations, co-planning meetings, and experience sharing.  
  • For the 2015/16 implementation year, four Partner Schools will be recruited. With the professional support of the CUHK QTN project team, Core Schools will share their good practices with the Partner Schools, consolidate and further develop the Phonics module of the resource package while Partner Schools will try out and develop the Phonics module.

Reading module (2013/14; 2014/15; 2015/16)

  • Three Core Schools were recruited in the 2013/14 implementation year to tryationwas provided by the CUHK QTN project team through professional development workshops, lesson observations, co-planning meetings, and experience sharing.  
  • For the 2014/15 implementation year, three Partner Schools were recruited. With the professional support of the CUHK QTN project team, Core Schools shared their good practices with the Partner Schools, consolidated and further developed the Reading module of the resource package while Partner Schools tried out and developed the Reading module.
  • For the 2015/16 implementation year, twenty Networking Schools will be recruited. Core Schools and Partner Schools will share good practices and successful experience with the Networking Schools. Networking Schools will try out and develop the Reading module of the resource package to cater for the needs of the school.
